Lilybug Cre"A"tions

Hi! My name is Alissa and I am the creator behind Lilybug Cre"A"tions. Growing up I was always creative, I loved drawing, painting with my Grandma while we watched Bob Ross, and Crocheting. After high school I followed my dream and went to nursing school. I am an RN and have been a nurse for 22 years. I have been married to my high school sweetheart and best friend for 20 years. Together we have one beautiful teenage daughter. My beautiful Lily "Lilybug" a nickname given to her by some very special NICU nurses.

I decided when she was about 2 that I wanted to try my hand at sewing, so I bought my first sewing machine a basic singer and started learning how to sew. I cannot believe I have been sewing now for 11 years, when I look back at my first few pieces I cannot help but chuckle. But hey we all must start somewhere.

So, in February of 2020 Lilybug Cre"A"tions was officially started and named after my inspiration: my Lilybug. For the past few years I have been selling items from my Facebook group. But this spring I decided to step away from nursing and pursue my small creative handmade dream full time. I am thankful to my wonderful hard working husband and my beautiful daughter for all of their encouragement and support.
